Spectral problems

Hellou!

I have been practicing to an exam by doing these spectral problems, which are not easy at all... Probably I still should be doing them right now, but my motivation died gradually during the day when non of my structures seemed to correspond the information in the spectras (yes, by looking at a few lines in a paper you should be able to determine the whole chemical structure of a molecule). Instead of being able to concentrate any more on the problems I tried to take macro photos of the spectras...and here is some of them. Yay. At least I am glad that we did not have an exam right after the Christmas holidays, like we have had earlier years.

...And the vacation once again went too fast. And even last year went fast. All in all, it was a good year even if there was some shit in the beginning. I had a little accident in February and broke my elbow, then I moved back to the city (and I like it so much better here) and had a great summer in Finland, played my first lacrosse games and made my first goal in Jyväskylä ...just to mention some things about last year. Then I hope this will be even better or at least as good as last year.

Sunset mirrored windows

I haven't really had time for photographing this autumn..and I've been very lazy updating too. But here is a picture from about a month back, when there was no snow yet. Now you like drown in all the snow... anyway the time is just before sunset, mirrored the windows with light, creating a feeling hard to explain. Somehow cold and distant...
    And by the end of the week I will head to Finland for the Xmas-holidays. But before that I still have a few days long lab to complete, how fun right before Christmas. And how fast time flows by, this blog has been up for 2 years now :o

Countryside near Stockholm

Here's some pictures from the trip to the countryside. As we hoped, we got a wonderful weather for the whole weekend... so we managed to go outdoors for some "hiking", to get rid of the huge amount of calories we gained during the weekend (haha).

Now I just feel so relieved about passing the course exam, and I'm even more exited about travelling to Finland tomorrow. Actually, I cannot recall when it would have felt this good travelling home. I guess I could start packing now!

One day in June

This was a cold and windy day in June. We were supposed to make an excursion from my summerjob to an island quite far from the shore, but it was too windy for doing that. Unfortunately it has been so rainy all the time here in Stockholm that I haven't managed to go photographing so often or then I've been busy with other stuff. Well, later today we are once again making a trip for the weekend to the countryside, to a friend's cottage. I'm really looking forward to it, and if we are lucky, we should get a nice weather for the whole weekend!
